How can I cancel or modify a reservation?

You can cancel or modify your reservation free of charge at least 5 days in advance from the date of the service. If you want to cancel or modify your reservation, please contact us through our Customer Center in reservas@calafatefull.com.ar. The cancellation of your reservation 5 days before the start date of the tour is free of charge. The modification of the reservation 5 days before the start date of service is subject to the availability offered by the Service Provider. In case of cancellation or modification within 5 days of the start date of the tour, there will be no refund of the amount paid at the time of booking without prejudice to the events that could have led to the cancellation, this includes force majeure events. In case of partial cancellation or modification of a reservation, the same deadlines detailed above will be considered. In case of no -show, there will be no refund of the amount paid without prejudice to the events that could have led such as force majeure events.

What is included in the tour price?

All rates include taxes (IVA) and are final prices. Usually, in full day tours, the price shown does not include the transfer from your hotel or lunch, except some tours. You should take into account the payment of the entrance to National Parks on those tours that take place within the national park. A complete description of what is included and what is not included in the price is shown in the panel information of each tour.

Can I book when I arrive in El Calafate?

We offer tour bookings only through our website. It is advisable to book your excursions in advance to avoid the lack of availability since tours have limited seating and are usually sold in advance. You can contact us on arrival at El Calafate but some tours may not longer be available.

I still do not know the exact date of my tour. Can I book a tour and leave open the date?

No, it is not possible to make a reservation if you do not know the exact date you want to perform the tour.

How do I receive my booking voucher?

After paying for the tour, the system will generate an electronic voucher (e-ticket) to be printed for presentation to the Tour Provider once on arrival. Only a few tours require the issuance of a provisional booking confirmation and, in the city of El Calafate, you will receive the final voucher at your hotel the day before your excursion. You will be notified when you book any tour that requires that the final voucher will be delivered at destination.

What is the age for children with special discounts?

The age for children depends on each tour and this information is specified on the right panel of the page of each excursion.

How can I pay for my reservation?

All reservations must be paid by bank transfer, bank deposit or credit card offline. Reserve tour pay 30 % of the total value as a down payment is required to finish.

How do I book a tour?

The first step is to click on the button "Book this tour". The next step is to complete a booking form choosing the date you will take the tour, the names of the passengers and optional services you want to include. After the payment is done, you will receive an e-mail with the booking confirmation and the E-Ticket (voucher) to be printed for presentation to the company providing the service. For tours that require confirmation of availability, a travel consultant will send you an e-mail with this confirmation and a link to make the payment.

Where do tours start?

Due to the fact most of the tours take place away from the city center, some of them include the pick-up service from your hotel while others offer it as an optional service. In the description of each tour you can check if the transfer is included or not in the price of the excursion itself. To include the transfer from your hotel in those tours which do not include it in the rate, you must book the transfer together with the tour.

What do the rates of the tours include and for what period are they valid?

All prices listed on the website are shown in Argentinian Pesos and include all applicable taxes. Prices quoted are subject to change without notice.

Are there any discounts for children, senior citizens or residents of the province of Santa Cruz?

Many tour operators offer discount rates to people who meet certain requirements. If offered, it will be informed in the description panel of each tour entitled as "Special Discounts". To access these discounts you will be requested to send scanned a valid documentation to verify it.

Why do I need to complete my personal data to make a reservation?

Yes. This information will be stored securely on our servers and is only used for the recruitment of the tours.

Can I book more than one tour at a time?

You can book all the tours you want as long as the start and end times of each tour do not overlap as they cannot be changed.

How is the weather and what clothes have to bring?

The weather in El Calafate city is predominantly dry and large stationary thermal variations do not prevent enjoy the different options of rides.
