Description
This unforgettable experience begins at the "Bajo de las sombras" port early in the morning. There you take a boat to cross the Brazo Rico, and land 20 minutes later on the west coast.The hike starts in the dark south of the Perito Moreno glacier, and in just over an hour you will reach a spectacular viewpoint, where you will access the ice, where the guides will place the crampons and harnesses to begin the journey.
Once on the glacier and with the crampons on, the world takes a new perspective: blue lagoons, deep cracks, huge sinkholes, magical caves, and the unique feeling of being at the center of the glacier.
Always accompanied and instructed by expert guides, who together with you will explore for three and a half hours (approx.) The corners of the most special glacier in the world. During the tour the guides will help you to better understand the ice and its surroundings. In addition, they will have half an hour to have lunch on the white blanket and surprise themselves in a place of unparalleled beauty.
Once in the moraine, they will walk another hour to take the boat back and sail very close to the south wall of the Gl. Perito Moreno to then return to "civilization", after having enjoyed one of the most spectacular ice treks in the world.
