Description
The idea is to provide those who do not have much time an option to visit the Chalten, the youngest town in Argentina, National Capital of Trekking. It will allow us to admire the Fitz Roy Hills (3405mts); Tower (3102 mts) and the natural beauties of its surroundings. We will begin the tour of the hotels at 08:30 hs. to start our trip. Costing the Argentine Lake we will continue until the crossing with the route 40 that we will take towards the north. Approximately half way we will arrive at the La Leona Parador, an old construction dating from 1894, on the river of the same name, where we will learn about its history.Continuing towards the north, and after several stops in panoramic points, we will surely meet with herds of guanacos and hares.
Then we head towards El Chorrillo del Salto, 4 km away. from El Chalten where we will enjoy the enchanting scenery and a natural waterfall 20 meters high in the middle of the mountain range. Lunch included in local restaurant (without drinks).
Passengers who prefer may choose to walk the trails to the Mirador de los Cóndores.
Around 4:30 p.m. We will return to El Calafate, estimating our arrival at 7:00 p.m. after an enriching experience.

Take warm clothes, gloves and polar or wool hat, waterproof jacket, trekking or sports shoes, a pair of extra socks, sunglasses, sunscreen and small backpack.
