El Calafate Mountain Park is located 15 km from the center of El Calafate on Provincial Route 15, at km 10.5 in the province of Santa Cruz.
With three daily departures, the excursion departs from the hotels of El Calafate and completes a 35-kilometer route on the line of hills behind the town. The footprint takes us through landscapes that marvel at its varied height vegetation. You get to the

Even with the help of the weather, it is possible to see the Fitz Roy and Torre hills in El Chaltén and, with some luck, perhaps the condor, master of the Patagonian skies, can be seen in his long glide. A unique show Follow the road to the Labyrinth of Stones, a Cretaceous period dating back 85 million years. It was once the bed of a river: today we can find fossil remains that allow us to be witnesses today of that millenary past. After this trip to other eras of the history of the world, we return to El Calafate with our eyes always on the omnipresent Lake Argentino.
